To our Parents-End of the Year and Important Dates to Remember

The end of the year is coming up very quickly!  Here are a few dates and procedures that you need to be aware of:

May 14- Elementary Track Day- 9:00-2:30
May 15- 9-12 Academic and Athletic Awards- 7:00
May 16- The school Library closes on this date so the Librarian can complete the inventory.  Please return all school library books.
May 20- K-8 Academic and Athletic Awards- 1:30
May 20, 21, 22- Senior Quarter Tests
May 23- Seniors last day
May 25- Commencement; Baccalaureate- 1:00, Graduation- 1:30
May 26- No School- Memorial Day Holiday
May 27- Kindergarten Graduation
May 27 and 28- Grades 7-11 Quarter Tests
May 30- End of 4th Quarter- Students will be dismissed at 11:30 and buses will be running at this time.

End of Year Check-out Procedure:
Grades K-11th students do have school May 27- May 30. 
Grades 7th-11th students have quarter tests during that week.  If, at a parent’s discretion, a student needs to check out early, please come to the office to check your child out.  No phone calls, please.   Students must complete the student check-out sheet and all final tests must be completed.  Note: Once a student checks-out, they are to leave the building and grounds; they may not stay and mingle/visit with other students.

All fines, obligations, and lunch bills must be paid.  Lunch bills are being mailed home this week.  Please help us close out our school lunch program by taking care of any bills owed.

Report cards will be mailed home during the second week of June.

Notes for next year:
HS Football, Volleyball and Cross-Country practice begins on August 18th
JrHi Football practice begins on August 25th
JrHi Volleyball practice begins on August 27th
IMPORTANT: Physicals must be completed before the first day of practice.

1st Day of the 2008-09 school year will be Wednesday, August 27th
Registration for students in grades 7-12 will be:
-Wednesday, August 20th - Grades 10, 11, and 12- from 10:00- 2:00
-Thursday, August 21st- Grades 7, 8, and 9- 10:00- 2:00
